Binderiya joined the Hawthorne & Co. CPAs team as a Staff Accountant in July 2022. She was excited about the great opportunity to expand her accounting knowledge and experience by getting to work on a wide range of projects with different types of clients. 

Binderiya liked that Hawthorne & Co. CPAs gave her the opportunity to learn about the full accounting cycle, tax preparation, business planning, and analysis.

Now that she’s been working with us for about a year, Binderiya says her favorite part about Hawthorne & Co. CPAs is the environment and people. She describes the environment here as calm, which leads to greater productivity. She also says all the employees are friendly and eager to help each other out.

“I really like working with them because they are committed to getting things done and are passionate about their work,” she says.

Binderiya advice for another young professional would be to say “yes” to the things that scare you, and constantly challenge yourself to become better and to learn new things.

“Challenging yourself can surprise you with the things you didn’t think you could do,” she adds.

Outside of work, Binderiya enjoys watching movies, reading, spending time with friends, and spending time being active. Many people don’t know this about Binderiya, but in high school, she was a dancer in her school’s dance band. More recently, she has been interested in playing ground tennis.  

She also enjoys hiking and going on long walks to take in different places and nature and has a goal to one day complete a long distance hike or marathon.
